A passion for yarn, for stuffed creatures and creating things not commonly seen in stores or online. That has been the foundation for what has shaped my business. Right now I am online only but hope to be out and about in the Reno/Sparks areas for future events.

Artificial intelligence is a popular subject these days. Even though it is touching our lives in various ways, my product offerings, photos and video are human created. Designs are original creations and handmade, not machined. Certain parts such as shoes, eyeglasses etc may not be handmade. Please refer to individual product descriptions. 

I am slowly transitioning from acrylic yarn to natural fibers such as merino wool, organic cotton, alpaca and even recycled materials. 

As of November 2025 I am no longer supporting yarn businesses or companies that are owned by private equity investment firms. I strive to find indie yarn businesses as well as natural fibers and hand dyed yarns. Please see individual descriptions for fiber information.

I support female and family owned businesses and try and incorporate that into all of my business needs and practices. I also support the LGBTQ+ community locally and globally. I try and use materials that are climate friendly, locally made or resourced as well as packaging material that is non plastic with options like pesticide free cotton and other recyclable fibers that ensure safe transport and shipping of your purchase.
